33 years ago we started practicing core brand transformation inspired by new systems modeling -eg of CK Prahalad & Gary Hamel- typically when needing to transform as large brand entity as the UN we'd propse better start again and then reverse takeover-; we realise that's not an option UN2.0 so urgent to address what's the 9 piece combo of UN2.0 Tech Envoy Team at Guterres HQ- how contextually value roadmaps for anyone SDG partnering Guterres: Global Connectivity since 1865 (ITU); AIforgoodreborn ITU 2018 stems from Neumann peers 100 times more tech per decade since 1935 -see dad's bio of vn
Digital Cooperation launched by Guterres 2018 but seen by those valuing youth generation as antidote to failure of millennium goals to value education more that primary school; Digital Capacity Building: sustainable gov tech requires UN2 to be skils benchmark wherever gov designed to empower; this leaves 4 traditional connections of UN to digitalise inclusion commons human rights so that trust/safety is brand's reality; 9th piece CODES environmental sustainability - thi9s seems to have emerged as it became clear that cops may lead on adaptation but adaptation needs to be borderless community replication of deep solutions

case 1 from wise  12/7/21

Facing the biggest disruption to education in recent history, we have the unique opportunity now to reform education to create stronger societies for a better world. WISE 2021 gives a voice to the generation that has been the most impacted by the pandemic and global crisis and seeks to understand what today’s young people want from education and for the future. This generation protests the inaction of governments regarding climate change, they use social media to voice their hopes for social justice and equality, and they are globally unsatisfied with their education. What is the education we need to build a better future?

racing a nation's millennials to the bottom

For me -cogniscent of how dad  at the economist and as neumann biographer have helped brainstorm coming of von neumanns 100 times more knowledge networking per decade since 1955 -  a nation that puts its college students in the most debt is neither going to grow in 2020s nor will be trusted to lead humanity away from  climste extinction

so radical change to universities looks to me the last best chance of usa turning the corner from the depths of fear it seems to have been politicised

BEGINNING SUMMER 2022

THE FORBIDDEN COURSES

Our Forbidden Courses summer program invites top students from other universities to join us for a spirited discussion about the most provocative questions that often lead to censorship or self-censorship in many universities. Students will become proficient and comfortable with productive disagreement. Instructors will range from top professors to accomplished business leaders, journalists, and artists.

FALL 2022

ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND LEADERSHIP MA PROGRAM

The primary purpose of most conventional business programs is to credential large cohorts of passive learners with a lowest-common-denominator curriculum comprised of the most abstract principles of accounting, finance, management, and organizational leadership.

In this 12-month program, UATX will recruit elite students from top schools, teach them the classical principles of leadership and market foundations, and then embed them into a network of successful technologists, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and public-policy reformers. Students will then actively apply their learning to the most urgent and seemingly intractable problems facing our society, both in the private and public sectors.

THE UNDERGRADUATE COLLEGE

CENTERS FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

After two years of a comprehensive and rigorous liberal arts education in The College, undergraduates will join one of four Academic Centers as junior fellows, pursuing disciplinary coursework, conducting hands-on research, and gaining internship experience. The Academic Centers will be structured as a combination of research institutes, think tanks, and innovation incubators, dedicated to addressing the most pressing questions posed by society.

Junior fellows will engage with leading scholars, graduate students pursuing MA degrees, as well as prominent leaders in business, politics, technology, and education. The Centers will enable junior fellows to graduate not only with intellectual achievement, but also with real-world experience and spirited purpose.
