>3/18 24: Similarities between Electronic Computers and the Human Brain: Thank you Jensen Huang for best week of Learning since John Von Neumann shared with The Economist 1956 notes Computer & The Brain
HAPPY 2024: in this 74th year since The Economist started mediating futures of brainworking machines clued by the 3 maths greats NET (Neumann, Einstein, Turing) people seem to be chatting about 5 wholly different sorts of AI. 1BAD: The worst tech system designers don't deserve inclusion in human intel at all, and as Hoover's Condoleezza Rice . 2 reports their work is result of 10 compound techs of which Ai is but one. Those worst for world system designs may use media to lie or multiply hate or hack, and to perpetuate tribal wars and increase trade in arms. Sadly bad versions of tv media began in USA early 1960s when it turned out what had been the nation's first major export crop, tobacco, was a killer. Please note for a long time farmers did not know bac was bad: western HIStory is full of ignorances which lawyer-dominated societies then cover up once inconvenient system truths are seen. A second AI ecommerce type (now 25 years exponential development strong) ; this involves ever more powerful algorithms applied to a company's data platform that can be app'd to hollow out community making relatively few people richer and richer, or the reverse. You can test a nation's use of this ai by seeing if efinance has invested in the poorest or historically most disconnected - see eg bangladesh's bklash, one of the most populous digital cash systems . Digital money is far cheaper to distribute let alone to manually account for so power AI offers lots of lessons but whether its good or not depends in part on whether there are enough engineers in gov & public service to see ahead of what needs regulating. There are 2 very good ai's which have only scaled in recent years that certainly dont need regulating by non engineers and one curious ai which was presented to congress in 2018 but which was left to multiply at least 100 variants today the so-called chats or LLMs. Lets look at the 2 very good ai's first because frankly if your community is concerned about any extinction risks these AI may most likely save you, One I call science AI and frankly in the west one team is so far ahead that we should count ourselves lucky that its originator Hassabis has mixed wealth and societal growth. His deep mind merged with google to make wealth but open sourced the 200 million protein databank equivalent to a billion hours of doctorate time- so now's the time for biotech to save humanity if it ever does. Alongside this the second very good AI graviates around Fei-Fei Li) in developing 20 million imagenet database so that annual competitions training computers to see 20000 of the most everyday sights we humans view around the world including things and life-forms such as nature's plants and animals. Today, students no longer need to go back to 0.1 programming to ask computer about any of these objects; nor do robots or and autonomous vehicles - see fei-fei li's book worlds i see which is published in melinda gates Entrepreneurial Revolution of girl empowerment
EW::ED , VN Hypothesis: in 21st C brainworking worlds how people's times & data are spent is foundational to place's community health, energy and so natural capacity to grow/destroy wealth -thus species will depend on whether 1000 mother tongue language model mediates intelligence/maths so all communities cooperatively celebrate lifetimes and diversity's deep data ) . Check out "Moore exponential patterns" at year 73 of celebrating Game : Architect Intelligence (Ai) - players welcome .. some jargon

At AIGames  and EE we help gamify intelligence to celebrate advancing humanity- who's done that most 1950-2025 , and which brain tools advance human livelihoods integrating goals the younger half of the world must celebrate uniting to be the first renewable generation ; i love exploring where did mathematicians throughout history create magic advancing all humans- here's a top 10 list before 1900 that bard  LLM suggests

Its important that educators (and indeed parents, students, public servants, all of society) see that you dont need to "do the maths" to see the freedom that multiplies where societies apply it-
..

i may be biased as my father was lucky to train economic journalists aligned to von neumann's intention in advancing the computational/digital age from 1951 - 73 years of notes suggest that while Neumann-Einstein_Turing certainly started many 100 times more tech expnoenetails (eg moores law 100 times more silico chip capacity per decade now 80 billion transistors on nvidia) - BUT the societal and educational  benefits of vision computing informing and being informed by neuroscience have only taken off in the last 15 yeras or so - i see humansai as far the most likely way of sustainability goals announced in 2015 being achievable- so a key focus of AIgames is who are today's mathematicians continuing part 2 0f Von Neumann's magic   and how do get kids/techhers of every age group to try out the new ai
foi 7 year olds are dance, and drawing the bset way to start as here?
for 10+ year olds are natire and moral sentiments/teamwork the best way
for any age that mathematucs genii may want to join in sharung vison ai - are these 4 neural network min-i curricula optimal?

if you think ai modules for different ages need to be on different subjects - love to hear from you chris.macrae@yahoo.co.uk

Back in 1951, Editor Geoffrey Crowther seconded my father Norman Macrae to Princeton and New York for a year- dad became the biographer/journalist of futures inspired by von Neumann's networks as well as those of leaders ranging from management's Peter Drucker to world inspiration JF Kennedy

In addition to dad's 40 years of work at The Economist, from early 1980s I helped co-author future histories (Genre 2025 Report :  Matt Ridley's review) and research von Neumann biography

A while ago I was chatting to von Neumann's daughter Marina and we started asking/mapping if Von Neumann or dad and pst friends were alive today, whose intelligence/vision for human advancement would they value most 2025-1950.

Its my hypothesis, and that of maths friends in NY who want to help UN sustainability Goals to advance ,that only Architects of Intel can return systems to sustainability of generations. So our proposal is Gamify Architects of Intelligence by curating first tours of inspirational human intelligences as well as inviting people to substitute players for their own fantasy league segmentations. By this means, we can counter noise/politics spun by fear of AI

Ultimately extinction would be the world's biggest maths error, but that's no reason to passively let that happen/ We are talking about mapping human intelligence designs/actions in deep communities as well as through tech platforms

We have tested chapters of 3 types;
Alpha is chronological so eg Crowther Neumann Einstein Turing Kennedy -what would the world uniquely miss without linking  these visionary agents of intergenerational good

Route Gamma is back from 2025's leading AI for good eg Hassabis Fei-Fei Li, Pichai, Leila Ibrahim

Route Beta hops in between 2025-1951 to extraordinary meetings of mind- when dad died The Japan Ambassador to Bangladesh arranged for me to follow up what happened when Steve Jobs in 2001 Silicon Valley hosted 65th birthday party of Fazle Abed who converted from being Royal Dutch Shell regional ceo to 50 years of empowering bottom of pyramid 1 billion women (this most unusual innovation took 16 trips to Bangladesh to fully catalogue  abedmooc.com  during the 5 years leading up to the sdgs launch 2015 and the 5 that followed

We believe gamifying Architect Intelligence can help multilateral leaders like Guterres end green washing; between my father and I. we traveled to Asia 100 times so representing each hemispheres priority future intels is designed into version 0 of this game.  So for example. regarding Asia's 60+% of beings, I hope we may yet make progress on where James Wilson left off back in 1860

Welcome to AI Architect Intelligence Game - mission 1 celebrate first 52 players wanted for worldwide uniting of sdg goods; we suggest 3 intros to intelligence touring 2025-1945:

Î± chronological:   Neumann Einstein Turing Courant, JFK , Crowther (autobiographer of Economists' first 100 years and architect either side of world war 2.In,  july 2023 we asked Bard what President Kennedy thought of Economist purpose. In a speech to the American Newspaper Publishers Association in 1961. Kennedy said

"The Economist is one of the most respected journals in the world. It is read by men and women of affairs in every country. It is a journal of ideas, and it is a journal of facts. It is a journal that is not afraid to speak its mind, even when its views are unpopular." Kennedy's quote suggests that he respected The Economist and its ideas. He also saw The Economist as a valuable source of information for policymakers and business leaders

γ back from future of 2020s Guterres ... Fei-Fei Li Demis Hassabis Lila Ibrahim

β anywhere in between helping understand eg actions communities need for sustainability: eg steve jobs and his hosting 2001 silicon valley of 65th birthday wish party of fazle abed - at which both committed to total change of university and ed systems inspired by poverty allevaition intelligence of 1billion girls

ITU/UN2/AIgood- final frontier :HGWells civilisation is race between education and collapse:  Between 1843 and 1993 the purpose of The Economist was to support UK Royal family (first 20-something queen vicioria) change world impacts from empiring over people to commonwealth of ending hunger and poverty; during friends of The Economist's third half century journalists was pre-trained to ask Von Neumann's scoop - which intelligences will help humans unite technologies of brains and tele-communicating?.

CAN YOU HELP COUNTER MEDIA AS MAN'S MAIN EXTINCTION RISK

Neumann's  most intelligent co-workers - Net-Neumann Einstein Turing and after 1956 NYU's Courant and from 1962 probably Macarthy - knew too well that first 80 years of tele- media hubbed out of Switzerland's ITU from 1865! had crashed into 2 world wars; they believed prudence would make 2025 give or take a few years deadline - for stainability's exponenetials not or extinction's to be our childrens futures.

AT EL,  we ask you to play game Architect Intelligence - which 52 players  intelligence cards would Neumann and th e NRET vote theitr legacy helping to celebrating time spent connectmg every teacher and child ; worldwide (linking every GPS) to good intelligence roadmapping.

That doesnt mean most of us need to perform as Einsteins, but a teacher of teens who doesn;t know 10 deepest gifts Einstein gave the world probably needs a different job in a world where shared intelligence determines everyone's future possibilities

.Actually by 2030 we have chartered since 1984:  the likelihood of the days of a child's life depending on a few teachers will be over. Education will be more important but almost all teachers will be local skills mentors, Firtunately Steve Jobs hosted a party in 2001 to celebrate this education innovation with Asian world's number 1 colaboration designed of girls ending poverty. (S0 the intel on how to do this is now 23 years and leaping out of Valley spaces such as Stanford and deep brain hubs)

FROM 1984, a spinoff genre of The Economist called 2025 report added an extra valuetrue hypothesis. 10 years into this genere the first full biography of von neumann was published.

MILLENNIALS EDUCATION CAN ONLY BE FIT for Uniting 8 billion beings purpose when every person has their own digital skills dshboald and personal LLM trainer. Of course we welcome improved visons but since 1984 that's been our best guess of what uniting 8 billion beings futures around will need at a bare minimum of goog

Game of Architect Intelligence - are you role playing α β γ

Intelligence year 73 of diarists trained by von neumann & Net Princeton 1951

α want to make sure AI foundations good - what did eg jfk kennedy, v neumann einstein , turing, coiurant want technology to unite around people? have we lost track when it comes to designing world in which each next girl born has fair chnace at life? Î³ are asking back from 2030 or 2025 if we started with seeing everything one or two ai for good you tube who first; whom do I know designing projects that need best ai can be; Î² ask did we get spaced out of seeing good directions last time at huge changes in digital world standards  eg 2009 where ITU 4G data from every gps re-intelligences the world, or 1999 when dotcom boom turned into something starting 21st C on even worse trajectory than world wars 20th C -see chaosmathsguide

If you are a teacher or student you probably need  cooperation skills in all 3 plays-others may want to ask what's the most life critical challenge at my family's GPS right now? will a language model be tailored to share intelligence needed in communities i love most
